According to German folklore, Nutcrakers were given as keepsakes to bring good luck to the family and protect the home.  It is said that they represent strength and power and watch over the family, keeping evil spirits and danger away.
 
The Nutcrackers are designed and handmade in Villa Park, Illinois, in small batch runs with close attention to detail. Hand-signed with a makers mark on back. May vary slightly from the one in the picture.  All pass very close inspection.  Comes in a post-consumer/recycled box, ready to give as a gift..
